David Bergmüller
David Bergmüller is an Austrian lutenist, composer, and educator known for
historically informed performance and contemporary music. Born on November 24,
1989, in Hall in Tirol, Austria, Bergmüller learned guitar at the Tiroler
Landeskonservatorium, and studied lute at the local Musikgymnasium. Bergmüller
subsequently studied under Hopkinson Smith at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis
and Rolf Lislevand at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen. After
