David Haas

David Robert Haas, born in 1957 in Bridgeport, Michigan, is an American author and composer of contemporary Catholic liturgical music. He graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1975 and studied vocal music performance at Central Michigan University. Some of his most notable works include "Blest Are They", "We Are Called", and "You Are Mine". His music was published extensively by major hymnal collections worldwide, including GIA Publications and Oregon Catholic Press.
