David Minasian is an American film producer, screenwriter, director, musician, singer, and songwriter. He began classical piano training at five, turning professional at fifteen, but chose a film career, graduating from California State University, Northridge with a degree in film and television. His first musical breakthrough came with the independently released album Tales of Heroes and Lovers in 1984, featuring piano, keyboards, and lead vocals, and a single "It's Driving Me Crazy" that gained MTV airplay.
