Real name David Edson Tayorault aka Totorino (the Samurai), the Ivorian
musician, singer and arranger David Tayorault began his career in the mid-1980s,
taking part in the group Woya with his friends Marcelin Yacé, Marino, Manou
Gallo, César Anot, Billy Syncop, Tiane, Tipo and under the guidance of producer
François Konian. Several albums, the fruit of this collaboration, were released,
from Ewé in 1987 to Hier, Aujourd'hui, Toujours in 2004, via Come Back in 1998
