David Yazbek
David Norman Yazbek, also known as David Yazbek, born in 1961 in New York City,
is an American writer, musician, composer, and lyricist. He began his musical
journey with cello lessons in elementary school and later took up the piano as a
teenager. After graduating from Brown University in 1982, Yazbek started his
career writing for Late Night with David Letterman, winning a Primetime Emmy
Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1984. He then transitioned
