Da'Ville
Orville Aloysious Thomas, known as Da'Ville, was born on January 24, 1978, and
is a Jamaican reggae singer. Raised by his grandmother, who emphasized education
and religion, he sang in church choirs during his youth. He formed the group ARP
(A Raw Perspective) before signing with Penthouse Records as a solo artist in
2001. His breakthrough album In Heaven (2005), featuring the chart-topping
single "In Heaven", led to extensive tours across Asia, Jamaica, and the
Caribbean Islands.
