Days of the New was an American rock band from Charlestown, Indiana, formed in
1995. The group initially started as a solo acoustic project by
vocalist/guitarist Travis Meeks during his teenage years. In 1996, Days of the
New signed with Outpost Recordings and released their debut album Days Of The
New (informally known as the Yellow or Orange album) in 1997. This album
featured hits such as "Touch, Peel and Stand", which topped Billboard's Rock
