DEBBY FRIDAY
Debby Friday is an electronic musician based in Toronto. She began her music
career with the release of her debut EP Bitchpunk in 2018, followed by Death
Drive in 2019. In 2023, she released the single "So Hard to Tell" ahead of her
debut album Good Luck, which was released on March 24 through Sub Pop and won
the Polaris Music Prize. Her second album, The Starrr of the Queen of Life, was
released in 2025 through Royal Mountain Records and Sub Pop. She has also been
nominated for several awards, including the Prism Prize in 2020 and 2022, and
the Berlin Music Video Awards in 2023.
