Debout sur le zinc
Debout sur le Zinc is a French alternative chanson group formed in 1995 in
Rambouillet by Simon Mimoun (vocals, violin, guitar), Olivier Sulpice (banjo,
guitar, mandolin) and Romain Sassigneux (vocals, clarinet, guitar, saxophone),
joined over the years by several musicians including Thomas Benoit (bass),
Christophe Bastien (vocals, guitar) and Cédric "Zed" Ermolieff (drums). The
group has made its mark on the French music scene with a blend of poetic
chanson, rock, folk and traditional music with a klezmer or Celtic accent. Their
