Tobias Schacht, born 1976 in Kamp‑Lintfort, Germany, is better known by his
stage name Der Junge mit der Gitarre. Raised in Tecklenburg as the son of a
pastoral assistant and organist, Tobias Schacht pursued a classical guitar
education followed by a jazz scholarship in Texas before shifting to a career in
music. His breakthrough came in 1998 when he performed at the Bizarre‑Festival’s
