Desmod
Desmod is a Slovak rock band from Nitra that has been active since 1996,
although its origins trace back to a heavy metal group formed in 1986. Fronted
by vocalist Mário "Kuly" Kollár since 1988, the band evolved from heavy metal to
melodic rock as its lineup changed over the years. After recording its first
demo in 1997, Desmod released its debut album, 001, in 2000 and went on to
become one of Slovakia's most successful rock acts. The band has won the Zlatý
slávik (Golden Nightingale) award seven times, while Kollár has received
