Dezarie, born on St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands, is a roots reggae singer and songwriter. She began her musical career with the release of her debut studio album, Fya (2001), through I Grade Records. That same year, she received the Best New Female Reggae Artist award in Atlanta before returning to St. Croix. She works closely with the band Midnite.
