The daughter of a soldier and a teacher, Diana Ross became the front woman of
the massively successful Supremes, going on to become an iconic solo artist.
After leaving school she joined Mary Wilson, Florence Ballard and Betty McGlown
in The Primettes, who were signed to Motown as The Supremes. In 1964 she was
