Die Liga der gewöhnlichen Gentlemen is a German pop band that was founded in
Hamburg in 2012. It was formed after the break-up of the band Superpunk, from
which singer and guitarist Carsten Friedrichs and bassist Tim Jürgens emerged.
The group is initially completed by Christoph Kähler (drums), Gunther Buskies
(keyboards) and Philip Morten Andernach (saxophone), later joined by Fabio
Papais (guitar) and Heiko Franz (drums), among others. Musically, the band moves
