Dishwalla, an American alternative rock band, were formed in 1994 in Santa
Barbara, California. The original line-up included Jim Wood on keyboards, Rodney
Browning Cravens on lead guitar, JR Richards on vocals and guitar, George
Pendergast on drums and percussion, and Scot Alexander on bass. Dishwalla's
breakthrough came with their debut album Pet Your Friends, released in August
1995 via A&M Records. The album featured the hit single "Counting Blue Cars",
which reached significant chart positions and won multiple awards, including a
Billboard award for Best Rock Song of 1996. ...
