Chris Davidson, known as DJ Cutman, is an American chiptune DJ. He co-owned a
hip-hop studio in Ithaca, New York, in the 2000s and began performing EDM covers
of video game soundtracks after the studio was robbed in 2010. His early
releases included Bagu and the Riverman (2011) and Chiptune Hero Bundle (2011).
In 2011, he founded GameChops to release video game covers. DJ Cutman started a
web series called "This Week in Chiptune" and later switched to Twitch in 2015
when it began allowing music streams, expanding his audience. He performed live
