DJ Japa NK emerged from São Paulo’s baile funk scene, built his name on
club-ready edits and high-energy sets, and then moved into official releases on
streaming. In 2024, he compiled early singles and collaborations into the
nine-track project É o Japa NK Né Bebê, and dropped the one-track DJ showcase
“Set do Japa NK 1.0.” “O Sol Tá Lindo,” with Boladin 211, followed at the end
