Khalil Abdul-Rahman Hazzard (performing as DJ Khalil; born October 16, 1974) is
an American hip hop and soul record producer, DJ, and songwriter from Seattle.
Abdul-Rahman is the son of basketball player Walt Hazzard. At age 13,
Abdul-Rahman met Dr. Dre and joined Aftermath Entertainment as an in-house
producer in 2001. In 1994, Abdul-Rahman formed the duo Self Scientific with
Chace Infinite, and later established the group The New Royales in 2008.
Abdul-Rahman co-produced the albums Recovery (2010), The Marshall Mathers LP 2
