doa, a Japanese rock band formed in 2004, consisted of Daiki Yoshimoto on
vocals, Shinichiro Ohta on guitar and vocals, and Akihito Tokunaga on bass and
vocals. The band's name is derived from the initials of each member's names. doa
debuted with the mini-album Deadstock under the indie label Tent House in June
2004. Their major debut came shortly after with the single "Hi no Tori no you
ni" under Giza Studio in July 2004. doa gained significant attention for their
contributions to anime and tokusatsu soundtracks, including the opening themes
"Eiyuu" (英雄) and "Aoi Kajitsu" (青い果実)...
