Doble El Elegido
José Luis Velázquez Maldonado, known as Doble El Elegido, is a Puerto Rican
producer, songwriter and urban artist whose career began behind the scenes,
contributing compositions to reggaeton projects such as Don Omar’s album Forever
King, where he co-wrote tracks including “Ranking” and “Baby Boo,” and building
a résumé that included work with Chencho Corleone, Almighty, Pacho Alqaedas,
Luar La L and Jadiel El Tsunami; his catalog from this period earned RIAA
platinum certifications, Latin Airplay Number 1 placements and Billboard Latin
