Donald Glaude, from Tacoma, Washington, worked as an American house music
artist, DJ, and remixer. Glaude began a musical journey with classical training
on the upright bass and violin before experimenting with tape decks. Glaude
started playing at nightclubs by the mid-1980s, gaining recognition in early
turntablism. An early residency took place at 6th & Proctor in Tacoma. In the
early 1990s, Glaude held a Friday residency at the Underground nightclub in
Seattle. The DJ founded the vanity labels Durty Records and Eden Records. Glaude
released records including Sampling The Futu...
