DoubleSpeak
Doublespeak is a British synthpop supergroup consisting of Vince Clarke (Depeche
Mode), Neil Arthur (Blancmange), and Benge (John Foxx & the Maths). In 2017,
Neil Arthur and Benge formed the duo Fader, before joining Vince Clarke for the
Doublespeak project. Formed to reinterpret classic and cult tracks using analog
synthesizers, inventive arrangements, and contemporary electronic production,
their self-titled debut album, released in May 2026, featured reworkings of
lesser-known post-punk tracks and pop classics, including “Back to Nature” by
Fad Gadget, “I Can’t Escape Myself” ...
