Drugs, The
The Drugs was a five-piece Australian alternative rock/concept band, formed in
1998 in Australia by Matt Downey, known as Ian Baddley, who handled lead vocals
and keyboards. He had previously performed with Drop City and IntrOverse. The
group released their first single "Pop Song" in 2000 and followed with the EP
The Only Way Is Up in the same year, earning a nomination for Best Comedy
Release at the 2001 ARIA Music Awards. In 2002, they released the single "The
Bold and the Beautiful", which received a second ARIA nomination, and their
debut album Music's in Trouble was released...
