Druid
Druid were an English progressive rock band that gained attention after winning
the Melody Maker Rock and Folk talent contest in 1974. Signed to EMI, they
released two albums, Toward the Sun (1975) and Fluid Druid (1976), showcasing a
sound influenced by progressive rock groups such as Yes and Genesis. The band
performed songs from Toward the Sun on the BBC television program The Old Grey
Whistle Test in 1975. Druid disbanded in 1977 while recording their planned
