One of Norway's most popular bands, DumDum Boys have been performing under this
name since 1985. Formed as Wannskrækk in 1979, the band featuring singer Prepple
Houmb, guitarist Kjartan Kristiansen and drummer Sola Jansen took their name
from an Iggy Pop song and, after a punk debut, released their debut album Blodig
Alvor Na Na Na Na Na in 1988. It was an immediate success, reaching number 14 in
the sales charts and winning a Spellemann Award, before going on to win a second
