Dust for Life
Dust for Life was a post-grunge band from Memphis, Tennessee, formed in 1999.
The post-grunge nu-metal band was created by Jason Hughes, Tim Fowler, and two
members from Spaceman, with Chris Gavin from Burning Blue joining as a
songwriter. In late 1999, they self-released their album Dust for Life. Their
breakthrough came in April 2000 after recording a demo at Ardent Studios that
led to being signed by Wind-Up Records. In October 2000, they released their
second Dust for Life album, which peaked at number 26 on the Billboard
