Edelweiss
Edelweiss, an Austrian electronic music group formed in 1988, gained
international recognition with their debut single "Bring Me Edelweiss" produced
by Martin Gletschermeyer and Walter Werzowa. The song featured vocals by Maria
Mathis and included a cover version of ABBA's "SOS" with new lyrics. Released in
1988, the track topped charts in multiple countries, sold over three million
copies, and earned a World Music Award. Edelweiss followed up with an album
