Efajemue
Efajemue “Efa” Etoroma Jr. is a Canadian jazz musician and drummer born in
Hamilton, Ontario, on August 3, 1988. Raised in Edmonton, Alberta, he began
taking piano lessons at a young age before switching to percussion in junior
high school. He studied jazz performance at the Schulich School of Music at
McGill University, graduating with a Bachelor of Music degree in 2011. While at
McGill, Etoroma led his own trio, the Efa Etoroma Jr. Trio, which released the
album Before and After in 2011 and earned nominations for the TD Grand Jazz
