Eija Ahvo
Eija-Hélène Ahvo Saartamo, known professionally as Eija Ahvo, was born on
January 31, 1951, in Juankoski, Finland, and is a Finnish actress, voice
actress, and singer. She began her career by studying theatre at the Finnish
Theatre Academy from 1973 to 1977. Her music career includes notable albums such
as Lasimaalaus (1990) and Maalaistyttö (2000). She has also worked extensively
in film and television, with notable roles including Wendla in Kevään herääminen
(1977) and Hiiriäit in Pessi ja Illusia (1984), for which she won the Jussi
