El Mastuerzo
Francisco Arturo Barrios Martínez, known professionally by the stage name El
Mastuerzo, is Mexican musician, composer, and record producer born in
Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico, on November 23, 1955. He relocated to Mexico City
in 1971 and joined the group Los Nakos in 1976, performing as vocalist, drummer,
and percussionist. In 1983, he co-founded the band Botellita de Jerez,
performing as drummer and vocalist. Following the group's second separation in
1995, El Mastuerzo launched a solo career composing songs with only his voice
