Rafael Conde Santiago, known professionally as El Titi, was born on September
10, 1938, in Talavera de la Reina, Spain. As a variety artist, he gained
prominence during the Spanish Transition period. His first notable performance
occurred at the age of 19 when he appeared in the Alkázar theater in Valencia
with the show Lluvia de estrellas. El Titi's breakthrough came with songs like
"Libérate" and "El Gitano Colorines", which championed the free expression of
