Elin Ruth Sigvardsson, known professionally as Elin Ruth, was born on November
23, 1981, in Mönsterås, Småland, Sweden, and is a Swedish pop musician and
singer-songwriter who began her music career with the release of Saturday Light
Naive in 2003, produced by Lars Winnerbäck. This debut album garnered critical
acclaim and earned her a Swedish Grammy nomination for best new artist.
