Elizabeth Shepherd
Elizabeth Shepherd, born in 1977, is a Canadian singer, songwriter, pianist, and
producer. She studied classical piano at conservatories in Canada and France
before earning a degree in jazz piano from McGill University in Montreal. In
2004, she moved to Toronto, where she began performing at a local piano bar and
formed the Elizabeth Shepherd Trio with Scott Kemp and Colin Kingsmore. Her
debut album, Start to Move (2006), received a Juno Award nomination in 2007. Her
