Elvis Depressedly is an experimental pop project formed in 2011 by Mat Cothran in Columbia, South Carolina. The project debuted with the self released EP Save the Planet Kill Yourself, followed by Goner and the single “Disgraceland” in the same year. In 2012, Cothran released the first full length album under the name, Mickey’s Dead, along with the compilation Hotter Sadness, which also came out in 2012.
