Emeric Imre, born on January 30, 1965, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, is a Romanian
guitarist, musician, performer, and composer of Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, and
Jewish ethnicity. He began studying the violin at a young age and later joined
the folk stage of Cenaclul Flacăra as a folk singer in 1984. After its
disbandment in 2000, he dedicated himself to promoting folk music through events
like Folk You. In 2006, he released his debut album Nebun de alb. He continued
