Emily Marie Nemmers, born July 9, 1981, in Waterloo, Iowa, performs as
Emily West. After moving to Nashville in 2000, she signed with Capitol Records
Nashville and released the EP Emily West in 2007; the single "Rocks in Your
Shoes" entered the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, peaking at number 39 in
early 2008. She followed with the single "That Kind Of Happy" in 2009 and the
duet "Blue Sky" with Keith Urban in 2010, which reached number 38 on the country
