Engst is a rock band from Germany that was founded in 2015. Stylistically, the
band moves between rock, pop and punk. Engst's career began on a TV casting
show. However, winner Matthias Engst decides against a major record deal with
the winning band Van Royals. Instead, he looks for musicians and founds his band
Engst. The EP ENGST is released independently in 2015. In 2017, Engst signed
with the record label Arising Empire. The debut album Flächenbrand follows a
