Formed in 1969, Eruption was a British R&B, disco, and soul band. Originally
known as Silent Eruption, the band was comprised of musicians of Caribbean
origins. By 1974, the band shortened their name to Eruption and, with the
addition of backing vocalist Precious Wilson in ’75, they won an RCA Soul Search
contest. They issued their first single, “Let Me Take You Back in Time”, that
