Evaldo Gouveia de Oliveira (born August 8, 1928), better known as Evaldo
Gouveia, was a Brazilian MPB singer-songwriter from Orós. Gouveia began his
musical career in the 1940s and founded the group Trio Nagô in the 1950s with
Mário Alves and Epaminondas de Souza. The band released six studio albums,
including Aquarela Cearense (1956) and Um passeio com o Trio Nagô (1959).Gouveia
relocated to Rio de Janeiro to pursue a solo career and collaborated extensively
with Adelino Moreira and Jair Amorim. His solo discography included the albums
