Extra Musica
Extra Musica, a Congolese musical band, was formed in 1993 by seven founding
members including Roga-Roga, Espé Bass, Kila Mbongo, Durell Loemba, Guy-Guy
Fall, and Ramatoulaye Ngolali. The group’s name “Extra Musica” reflects the idea
of being “extraordinary,” inspired by positive feedback from early performances.
They first gained recognition with their debut album Les Nouveaux Missiles
(1995), which included the popular track “Freddy Nelson.” In 1998, internal
