Fay Hield
Fay Hield, born on February 4, 1978, is an English folk singer. She released her
debut solo album Looking Glass in 2010, featuring traditional songs and ballads,
and was nominated for the Horizon Award at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards that same
year. Her second album, Orfeo, followed in 2012 with a lineup known as Fay Hield
& The Hurricane Party. In 2013, she formed The Full English band with the
English Folk Dance and Song Society to promote their archive search engine. The
