Fear Of Pop
Fear of Pop was an American experimental recording project established in 1997.
The project was founded by Ben Folds and producer Caleb Southern as an outlet
for Folds to perform music outside of the standard format of his main ensemble,
Ben Folds Five. The collective included musician John Mark Painter, actor
William Shatner, and vocalist Fleming McWilliams. Their recording career
consisted of the studio recording Volume 1 (1998) released on the label 550
Records. The recording featured the song “In Love” which featured Shatner on
