Italian pianist and composer born in Milan in 1982, Federico Albanese is part of
the "crossover" classical music movement, with minimalist pieces, ambient
atmospheres and works for the screen. Trained on piano and clarinet, he later
learned to play bass and turned to rock, soul and electronic music. In 2007, he
and singer Jessica Einaudi, daughter of Ludovico Einaudi, founded the duo La
Blanche Alchimie, which produced two albums. Seven years later, Albanese unveils
his first solo album, The Houseboat and the Moon, released by Denovali Records.
