Farina Pao Páucar Franco, known professionally as Fariana, is a Colombian
singer, rapper, and songwriter who has been a trailblazer in the Latin urban
music scene since her emergence in 2005. Born on September 16, 1986, in
Medellín, she gained national attention as a finalist on Colombia’s Factor X,
becoming the first woman to introduce reggaeton to the country’s mainstream. Her
debut single, “Sólo con Palabras,” a duet with Julio César Meza, marked her
initial success. In 2012, she released her second studio album, Del Odio Al
Amor, featuring standout tracks like “Pongan Atenció...
