Flanger
Flanger is a German electronic music project founded in 1997 by Uwe Schmidt, who
is also known as Atom Heart, and Bernd Friedmann, who is also known as Burnt
Friedman. The duo met in Santiago, Chile, in 1997 to record their debut album,
Templates (1999). Released by the label Ntone, the album established their style
of non-repetitive, complex electronic compositions. They followed in 2000 with
the album Midnight Sound, and in 2001, they released the single “Inner
