Flaw
Flaw, an American nu metal band from Louisville, Kentucky, was formed in 1996
when vocalist Chris Volz responded to a newspaper advertisement placed by
guitarist Jason Daunt. The pair quickly began writing material together,
completing their first song, "Inner Strength." In 1997, bassist Ryan Jurhs
joined the group, and the band recorded its debut independent album, American
Arrogance (1998). The band’s early releases led to a deal with Republic and
