Forest Fire
Forest Fire is an experimental rock band from New York City led by songwriter
and vocalist Mark Thresher (Augsburger). Their lineup included Natalie Stormann
(synthesizer/multi-instrumentalist), Galen Bremer (bass/multi-instrumentalist),
and Robert Pounding (drums). Their debut album Survival (2008) was released on
Catbird Records, followed by a re-release on Infinite Best in 2009. The album
received critical acclaim for its urban folk sound with art-punk underpinnings.
In 2011, they released their second album Staring at the X on FatCat Records.
