Forest Stream, a symphonic black/doom/gothic metal band from Chernogolovka, Russia, was formed in 1995. The group's early work was inspired by the harsh Russian winters and combined elements of British doom metal with Norwegian black metal. Their debut album, Tears Of Mortal Solitude, released in 2003, received critical acclaim. In May 2007, Forest Stream embarked on their first international tour in Ukraine.
