Fran Warren

Frances Wolfe, known professionally as Fran Warren, and born on 4 March 1926 in New York City, was an American singer. Her first charting single, "A Sunday Kind of Love", appeared on Columbia Records in 1947, followed by the 1949 hit "I Said My Pajamas (and Put On My Pray'rs)" with Tony Martin, which reached number 3 on the pop charts. Warren also appeared in the Broadway musicals The Pajama Game and Mame. She toured with a band led by trumpeter Harry James in the 1960s and notably worked with Joe Cabot. She passed away on 4 March 2013.
