Frédéric Metayer, known professionally as Fred Metayer, was born in Maurepas,
Île-de-France, France, in 1973. He is a French singer-songwriter who began his
career as an educator before transitioning into music. His early songs explored
themes of personal growth and societal pressures, blending various genres
including rock, reggae, and hip-hop. Metayer's debut album Sauter Du Nid was
released in 2002. In 2007, he collaborated with producer Jean Lamoot to record
